Many years ago, I would frequently use laundry dryer sheets, also known as fabric softener sheets, to provide wonderful aromas that made the chore of doing laundry a more pleasurable experience. That is, until it was pointed out that these aromatic sheets can cause unnecessary exposure to toxic chemicals and even carcinogens. I decided to take my remaining dryer sheets and reinterpret them, envisioning them in a new light, making an everyday object into a study of how commonplace items can be repurposed.
